The mujāhidūn and the mujāhidāt are respectively all Muslim men and women who serve the cause of Islam according to the model of the Prophet (God bless him and grant him peace), and work hard to unite our divided ummah by peaceful means. The word mujahid does not refer exclusively to the military. All violent or terrorist acts are absolutely contradictory to the Prophet’s model.
