In Imam Yassine’s revivalistic project, the mission of Islamic movements combines the affairs of the State [dawla] (i.e. addressing the social, economic, political, and cultural issues of the Islamic society so as to enable its members to live a life of dignity) and the missions of the Call [da‹wa] (i.e. teaching and training the individuals morally and spiritually, and preparing them for the great journey towards the Hereafter, towards God).
