Becoming Close to the Messenger (God Bless Him and Grant Him Peace)
You should chant blessings and salutations on the Prophet at least three hundred times a day, and particularly on the night of Thursday and the day of Friday. By this does the Lord redeem us from the depths of darkness into the light: “Those who will most be deserving of my company on the Day of Resurrection will be those who had most often asked God to shed His blessings on me.”
