Chapter 36 [Yāsīn]

– Ma’qil ibn Yassār (God be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (God bless him and grant him peace) said: “Yāsīn [Chapter 36] is the Heart of the Qur’ān. Whoever seeking God and the Home of the Hereafter reads it, God will forgive him [his sins]. Do read it on your dead.” Hadith narrated by an-Nassā’i, Abu Dawūd andIbn Hibbān (God have mercy upon them).

– Abu Hurayra (God be pleased with him) reported that God’s Messenger (God bless him and grant him peace) said: “Whoever reads Yāsīn [Chapter 36] seeking [by such reading] the Face of God, God will forgive him [his sins].” Hadith narrated by ad-Dārimi and at-Tabarāni.
