In his speech, Ustadh Mohamed Abbadi, the Secretary-General of the Justice and Spirituality Movement, reminded of the compassion and kindness that characterized the Imam, may God have mercy on him, towards all people. He emphasized, ’this commemoration is a genuine love that we hold for a man whom God honored with the complete inheritance of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This desire to commemorate him is also fueled by the knowledge we gained about the virtues of faith. Our connection is based on the bond of love for the sake of God. May God reward him with the best reward. His profession was education, nurturing generations to engage in righteous deeds and strive for the promised rightly guided caliphate of God. It is our duty to invite people and acquaint them with what has been written and authored in the theory of the prophetic methodology.’ Ustadh Mohamed Abbadi concluded his speech by stressing the necessity of fulfilling the commitments we made to ourselves before our Imam, may God have mercy on him, by becoming a dynamic Quranic school across generations.”

Ustadh Abdelkarin Alami: The Palestinian Cause and the Foundations of Al-Nusra (support)

Afterwards, Mrs. Rajaa Errahyoui, the moderator of the event, presented the theme of the first symposium and its participants. The opening speech was delivered by Ustadh Abdelkarim Alami, the head of the Shura Council of the Justice and Spirituality Movement, entitled ‘The Palestinian Cause and the Foundations of al-Nusra (support).’ In his talk, he clarified that 11th Commemoration of the passing Imam Abdessalam Yassine coincides with the events unfolding in the beloved Palestine. This blessed land occupied a prominent place in the intellectual, dialogical, and poetic works of the late Imam, may God have mercy on him. He dedicated a distinguished section in his book “Winning the Modern World for Islam” entitled ‘The Wound of Palestine,’ and his letters to the ruling authority did not refrain him from criticizing the detested policy of appeasement towards the Zionist movement. Several esteemed researchers and academics have attempted to delve into various ideas related to the Palestinian cause in the works of Imam Abdessalam Yassine, may God have mercy on him, in a collective book titled ‘Palestine in the Thought of Imam Abdessalam Yassine, may God have mercy on him.’

Ustadh Abdelkarim Alami also underscored that Christian Zionism poses a greater threat than Jewish Zionism, and this unwavering support is just one facet of the purported American democracy. Consequently, it is imperative for us to resist the Zionist agenda in Palestine, as the entity will soon extend its corruption to all the inhabitants of the land. The proper approach is to engage in the battle against Zionism and condemn anyone supporting it to safeguard humanity as a whole. We dismiss the ploy of the Zionists who label those opposing their corruption as “anti-Semitic.” True peace for humanity, embracing all races and religions, can only be attained by disavowing this brutal and barbaric Zionist violence.

Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouk: The Palestinian Cause from Siege to Triumph

In the second intervention, titled “The Palestinian Cause: From Siege to Triumph,” Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouk, Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas abroad, underscored the pivotal role of the Palestinian cause in the writings of Imam Abdessalam Yassine, may God have mercy on him. Through these writings, the Imam exposed the endeavors of Zionists and their extremists in their Judaization projects and outdated delusions.

Dr. Abu Marzouk also observed that the international community, with its governments and human rights institutions, has forsaken the Palestinian cause, with Arab leaders at the forefront of this abandonment. The Palestinian resistance movement consistently warned both local and international actors about the perils of Zionist schemes and their destructive plans for the region. Unfortunately, these warnings went unheeded. Al-Aqsa Flood event of Oct 07, then occurred, rendering the liberation of Palestine a feasible and attainable objective. The Zionist entity, resembling a spider’s web, crumbled from the very outset, dispelling the myth of the “invincible army” and the high-precision technology it purportedly possessed.

The speaker underscored the paramount value of bringing the Palestinian cause back to the forefront, elevating its global significance today. This achievement, he emphasized, was only possible through meticulous preparation, unwavering determination, and reliance on God Almighty. In Gaza, men and women dedicated to the Quran spend their nights in prayer, standing before their Lord, while their days are committed to striving for the realization of God’s promise and victory. Through these efforts, they earned the divine support, as articulated in the verse, “If you stand up for God, He will help you” (Quran 47:7). The resistance fighters have adopted martyrdom as their purpose, and in return, God has bestowed upon them His miracles and blessings.

Dr. Abu Marzouk affirmed that the resistance seeks nothing but freedom for its people and land, advocating for the liberation of prisoners and vulnerable citizens. The goal is to prevent them from becoming slaves to occupation and blockade. He emphasized that Israel is merely a creation of global arrogance, prompting the West to rally in defense of its project in our lands.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Abu Marzouk earnestly implored the global community to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestine. He emphasized their unwavering reliance on God Almighty, illustrating their extraordinary endurance, a depth, and significance that the world has struggled to comprehend fully. The world witnessed their profound commitment to their religion, a faith characterized by mercy for all beings, and their compassionate treatment of the enemy’s prisoners, particularly women and children. This stood in stark contrast to the deceptive narratives propagated by the Zionist enemy and their media apparatus, attempting to spread misinformation globally and conceal the atrocities suffered by the Palestinian people in Gaza and across the cities and villages of Palestine.

Dr. Abu Marzouk declared that this ongoing struggle marks a critical juncture that, with the assistance of God, will ultimately lead to the demise of the Zionist project. The criminal Zionist machinery and its collaborators will not overcome the resilience of the Palestinian people, as God is on their side. Those supported by God remain impervious to harm from those who betray or forsake them. He urged a unified and resolute effort, emphasizing the need to work together for the liberation of Al-Aqsa and the collective future of our children.

Dr. Azzam Sultan Tamimi: The Palestinian Cause and Geopolitical Contexts: Interactions and Prospects

Dr. Tamimi opened his speech by acknowledging the presence of his memory of Sheikh Abdessalam Yassine, may God have mercy on him, when he interviewed him in the “Muraja’at” (TV series of his auto-biography) program. He highlighted a notable attribute shared by Sheikh Yassine, Imam Al-Banna, Maulana Maududi, and Ahmed Yassin – a rare clarity of vision within the Islamic movement. Those who lost this clarity, he argued, succumbed to the pitfalls of normalization, despite the inherent impossibility of coexisting with Zionism.

Dr. Tamimi then delved into the early days of the Zionist movement, noting that most rabbis initially stood against it, and some of them still continue to do so. He also pointed out that Europeans committed atrocities against Jews because of their lack of understanding in dealing with them. In contrast, in the Islamic nation, Jews historically lived under the protected status known as “dhimmis.”

He then highlighted the stances of the Christian Zionist movement and the support from American Protestants for the Zionist cause. Dr. Tamimi expressed disapproval of the alliance between Arab Zionists and the Zionist movement, citing the conspiracy to overthrow the late Dr. Mohamed Morsi after he was the first president of Egypt ever to be democratically elected.

Concluding his remarks, Dr. Tamimi asserted that the events unfolding in Gaza signify the initiation of a Renaissance project. He emphasized that what transpires after this conflict will deviate from the preceding situation, and he underscored that the resilience demonstrated by Gaza is a symbol of steadfastness.

In the end, a discussion was initiated among human rights activists and academics present, aiming to explore additional dimensions of the Palestinian issue.
