O Palestine

O Palestine

Palestine, O Palestine, a dagger thrust in Arabs’ hearts,
But had the Arabs discerned, and unity been their arts,
They’d cast away hollow chants, that demean their faith, their core,
And declare, We are Muslims, our faith empowers us more.
For the Holy City’s captive, held by the foe’s hand,
We’d sacrifice for its freedom, in God’s sacred land.
Jihad ‘gainst disbelief is our path, firm and clear,
Obliged and prescribed, in the face of doubt and fear.
We beseech the Lord above, and angels shall descend,
To safeguard our endeavor, to this righteous cause attend.
