Chapters 114 [an-Nās]

– Ibn ‘Abbās al-Juhani (God be pleased with him) said: “God’s Messenger (God bless him and grant him peace) told me, ‘O Ibn ‘Abbas, shall I tell you the best thing by which God’s servants seek refuge with God from evil? I said, ‘Sure, O Messenger of God.’ He said, ‘Chapter 113 and Chapter 114.’” Hadith narrated by an-Nassā’i (God have mercy upon him).

– ‘Uqba ibn ‘Āmir (God be pleased with him) reported that God’s Messenger (God bless him and grant him peace) said: “Some verses have been revealed to me the like of which I have never had revelation before: Chapter 113 and Chapter 114.”Hadith narrated by Imam Muslim and Imam Ahmad (God have mercy upon them).
