The Imam Yassine Digital Foundation announces the commencement of observances marking the thirteenth Commemoration of the Passing of the Imam of Renewal, Abdessalam Yassine (May God have mercy on him).
This year’s commemoration holds profound significance, coinciding as it does with the centennial of his birth. It is a twofold tribute: an honoring of a pure and generous man, and a reaffirmation of a life richly devoted to spiritual education [tarbiya], scholarship, da‹wa, and communal edification.
Over the course of that journey, Imam Yassine laid the foundations of an integrated project uniting Spiritual Education and Transformative Change; a vision for renewal wherein the heart’s yearning for intimate knowledge of God finds harmony with the umma’s quest for liberation and ascent, and with humanity’s desperate need for a society founded upon mutual compassion and a civilization of Islamic fraternity [‹umrān akhawī].
The central theme of this year’s commemoration shall be: “The Palestinian Cause and the Zionist Threat.”

Sunday, December 14, 2025:
A symposium titled: Al-Aqsa Flood and the Zionist Threat: Regional Repercussions and Global Shifts.
Saturday, December 20, 2025:
An evening of tribute entitled: “The Imam as Poet,” celebrating the publication of the Complete Poetic Works of Imam Abdessalam Yassine.
Saturday, December 27, 2025:
A devotional Session of Spiritual Counseling [naṣīḥa] on the theme:“Divine Law concerning Victory and Empowerment [tamkīn].”
All proceedings of this commemoration shall be broadcast live across the official digital platforms and the YouTube channel of Imam Abdessalam Yassine.
